How it all works
To work with someone, who is living out their dream, and help their business thrive is the most rewarding thing a designer can do. Working closely with clients, getting consumed in their thoughts and vision, will always create high-quality work that meets the objectives and also develops long-lasting relationships.
1 Setting the brief
This is the most critical stage of any project! Setting out the project requirements, which consists of a discussion between client and designer, enables me to understand the business I am designing for and also getting to know who I will be collaborating with. We will work together to identify and agree project objectives, deliverables, deadlines and budget.
2 Research & Ideas
Once the brief session has taken place all of the notes will be reviewed and the research and ideas phase begins. Looking at styles, competitors and trends, which could influence the design route. The strongest ideas will then be presented along with my explanations of the thought process referencing the back to the original brief.
3 Development
Together, we evaluate the feedback from the initial concepts against the brief. Any change requests are noted to the chosen visuals. This is the point where the design really starts to come to life.
4 Completion
This is the most rewarding phase! Once you are happy, which is the most important part, all of the final artwork files are supplied, or the relevant file is sent directly to a printer. The ultimate aim is to build long-term relationships with all clients, so once the project is launched, we can both monitor the growth and impact – and discuss any other alternative avenues to work together.
Communication is key throughout the design process by both myself and the client, I welcome any feedback and questions you may have at any point throughout the project.
