Motorsport Driver Brand Identity - Salih Yoluc
For this project, I created a bespoke motorsport logo for a private racing driver, designed to be used across the car livery, race suit, and merchandise. The aim was to develop a bold and memorable identity that reflected the driver’s personality, racing style, and competitive spirit.
A key element of the design was the inclusion of a honey badger, chosen for its reputation for strength, determination, fearlessness, and toughness — qualities that perfectly represent the mindset and performance of the driver when competing on track.
The driver’s Turkish heritage was also an important part of the concept, with the Turkish flag incorporated into the design in a subtle and meaningful way. The moon arc was positioned behind the honey badger to represent the national symbol, while the star was brought forward and integrated as the eye, creating a unique connection between the driver’s identity and the character of the logo.
The final brand mark combines attitude, heritage, and visual impact, creating a distinctive motorsport identity that stands out on the track while building a recognisable presence across all driver branding materials.
