Documentary Style Video Edit – Cannonball Run Rally
For this project, I created a documentary-style video edit capturing the full journey of a private driver, and his best friend, taking part in the Cannonball Run Rally. The aim was to transform a collection of supplied stills and motion footage into a compelling story that showcased the excitement, adventure, and memorable moments from the event.
Starting with the car’s transformation and wrap reveal, the edit followed the journey through registration, preparation, and each day of the rally, bringing together the key moments that captured the atmosphere and experience of the trip.
With a focus on storytelling, pacing, and emotion, I crafted a 55-minute video that allowed the viewer to feel part of the adventure — from the anticipation at the start line to the highlights along the route. This portfolio clip features a short snippet from the full edit.
